Minitab offers both single-user and multi-user versions of our products. Before you can start using your software, you need to either activate your product (single-user license) or manage your license files (multi-user license).

Single-User
You have the single-user product when you have one or more of the following:
- A Product Key
- Purchased your software from OnTheHub.com
You need Minitab 16 or Quality Companion 3.2.1 or newer to continue with product activation. If you have an older single-user version of the software, go to Online Support for activation assistance.
Multi-User
You have the multi-user product when you have one or more of the following:
- An enterprise-wide or network license
- An existing license file or you need to create a new license file
- Concurrent licenses (a specified number of users can simultaneously access the software)
